Self Introduction
I am currently an Impact Manager for the education nonprofit City Year. I have a Masters in Human Rights Law from the University of Manchester with an undergraduate degree in International Business from The Ohio State University. I have worked in a number of professional positions in both the public and private sectors while also maintaining a reliable and successful presence on the board of the national nonprofit Project Nicaragua. While attending the University of Manchester, I served in numerous leadership roles, including Student Representative for my Master’s course in the School of Social Sciences, while also being an active member on the board of the US national nonprofit Project Nicaragua as the Assistant Executive Director.
My resume highlights more than years of experience in the education sector, with three of those years being in the realm of international education. I have taught English in a qualified program in Spain as well as with my own selfbuilt English curriculum in Nicaragua. My duties included lesson planning, classroom management, leading whole school programming, and facilitating curriculum in both Tier and Tier spaces. It is with this highlighted experience, as well as my management experience, that make me a qualified candidate for most English teaching programs.
