Since we were founded in 1972, we have developed extensive experience of managing schools and working with governments to raise standards and improve educational achievement.

Our Learning Services Division is an active partner to international governments, delivering projects aimed at improving achievement, creating educational opportunities for all students and helping to change lives for the better. To date this has included strategic partnerships with governments in the UK, the United Arab Emirates, the State of Qatar, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of Bahrain. Here in Abu Dhabi we are immensely proud to be working in partnership with ADEC to deliver tailored school improvement services to 24 government schools in the Emirate carefully reflecting and addressing the individual needs of each whilst serving national priorities.

Our work involves the delivery of a systematic and sustainable programme of educational change and renewal which will raise standards, modernise curriculum delivery, and improve administrative processes. We focus on working directly with teachers and school leaders to raise the quality of teaching and learning in order to achieve demonstrable improvements for students.

Our International Schools Division delivers a high quality British-style education to learners across Asia, the Middle East and Europe. We are one of the world’s leading operators of international schools, operating 12 premium international schools worldwide under the British International Schools brand. In 2009 we opened new schools in Beijing and Abu Dhabi (British International School Abu Dhabi), our first International School in the Middle East. Our schools follow a curriculum based on the National Curriculum of England adapted country by country to meet local culture and conditions and offer both the International Baccalaureate and the IGCSE.
